Mike Deeter Director of Maintenance and Operations Mike started working for the district in 1995. He is originally from Long Beach, but has lived in Florida, Texas, and Colorado. He has previous experience in heavy equipment, especially as a diesel mechanic, but he has also worked as a journeyman electrician, plumber,and carpenter. Mike spent 10 years with Foster Farms as a Production Manager. His goal is to serve the school district and community to the best of his ability. He also enjoys mentoring and guiding young people and runs the summer apprenticeship program with a group of students. "I am externally grateful to live and work in a place as beautiful as Covelo and intend to retire here someday. " -- Mike   Kathy Britton Administrative Assistant Kathy recently joined the school district this year as the Supernintendent's Administrative Assistant. She is a long time Covelo resident and is active in the community, especially as a 4-H leader, helping students raise and show rabbits. (more information soon)       Sandy Spence RVUSD Receptionist, Accounts Payable Sandy was born and raised right here in Covelo and started working at RVUSD in 1991, although she worked at the High School once before back in 1957.
