Aaron began his Artistic development as a young child.
He was trusted with quality materials at a young age. He believes
he benefited greatly from those first experiments with oil paints,
pens, and clay. Now his art comes in the form of painting, drawing,
and printing. His work is realistic, often landscapes. He has
a special interest in nature and how human life interacts with
it- his art work is usually questioning human relationships to
nature. Trees are also a special subject matter at times.
Aaron has worked with Jim and Carolyn Robertson
at the Yolla Bolly Press for many years. He helps print
high quality limited edition books. Aaron has had the opportunity
to illustrate one of these books himself, creating a beautiful
series of original woodcut prints.

Aaron studied Studio Art at U.C.S.C. He also
studied Graphic Art in Florence, Italy at Il Bisonte School of
Graphic Art in the fall of 1983. His painting "Oak and
Madrone" was exhibited at the San Diego Museum of Art
in May- July of 1998.
Aaron has experience teaching and would like
to be an artist in residence for Round Valley schools. He hasn't
any preference to age.
