Taught by a master quilter, Milicent learned
hand-quilting skills one by one over twenty years. She has been
involved in many sewing circles. Her work has been shown at numerous
craft shows including the Blackberry Festival and Christmas Bazaar.

Milicent believes every girl and boy ( if they
are interested) should take at least one sewing class before graduation.
" It is one of life's beneficial skills." She feels that
sewing, quilting, handwork, within a group of like minded people
is, "...a learning experience that presses you onward and upward."
Milicent would love to share her
skills with the youth of Round
Valley schools.
