Debi Bauer began her art as a child. She had an artist neighbor who encouraged her and helped her with creative projects. Debi's artistic training and education has been solely self-motivated.

She enjoys painting on tools such as saw blades and shovels . She says she'll paint on any kind of tool that has a flat enough surface. Debi also enjoys painting on animal skulls and bones and has done a number of paintings on mailboxes-(you can see them here and there if you drive around the valley!) She is inspired by nature and the countryside around her, painting lots of flower studies and birds and pet portraits. She also has special interest in rodeo art.

She has won 4 Blue Ribbons for her paintings at Redwood Empire.
Debi also raises puppies for Guide Dogs for The Blind.

Debi would like to share her talent with all ages.
