Better Options for Neglected Strays
|
The BONES rescue group was formed to serve the needs of homeless, neglected, and abused animals in the Round Valley area. "Our goal is to rescue, rehabilitate, and place these animals into loving homes."
Bones The BONES rescue team is named in honor of one of our rescued dogs, Bonesn (shown above) who changed the image most have of rescued pets through the beauty of his spirit. Bonesn managed to escape from his confinement and found his way to the elementary school. Three compassionate employees went to his aid. They called Barbara Thrasher who rushed him to the local veterinarian. The prognosis was very poor. He was starving, severely dehydrated, and suffering from mange and worms. He was bleeding from his gums and had diarrhea. The kindness of others and his will to live pulled him through. He grew to be a very handsome, gentle, loving, and happy guy. Everyone who met him knew instantly there was something special about him. His spirit lives in all neglected animals who seek kinder human contact.

| Our rescued pets are kept in our homes as members of our families, they
are never kept in kennels. Most of our pets have been abandoned or abused.
We give them the TLC necessary to become trusting again. They are healthy,
happy and well adjusted and are ready for forever homes.
